<br />Local Climate Action Grants: Planning Application <br />If yes: <br />a. Provide name of outside organization(s) and contact information, experience, and qualifications specifically related <br />to the proposed project. Describe the role(s) of the outside organization(s) in the project. (maximum 250 words): <br />Consulting firm to be determined if/when awarded. We will be looking for a consultant who has experience with and <br />knowledge of climate action planning, community engagement, and environmental justice. The consultant will lead <br />our GHG inventory work, assist with identifying metrics and goals, help plan community outreach, and design and <br />draft the final plan document. If funds allow, we may work with the consultant to develop the dashboard to track <br />metrics on the city website. <br />b. Provide detailed information about the qualifications and experience with similar projects of the specific people <br />from each outside organization who will work on this project. (maximum 500 words): Selected consultant(s) will have <br />previous experience working on climate and sustainability projects within the public sector, specifically at cities, <br />counties, and other local government entities. An ideal consultant can show demonstrated success engaging <br />underrecognized groups in climate work and may have existing connections to trusted community leaders for such <br />groups. The consultant should be able to synthesize Roseville’s GHG and demographic data to a develop a plan <br />specifically serving the needs of Roseville residents and visitors and identifying the unique challenges our city faces as <br />we experience the effects of climate change.
