1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />th <br />6 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 5 day of May, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. <br />7 The following members were present: <br />8 and the following were absent: <br />9 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />10 RESOLUTION No. <br />11 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR <br />12 #24-04 COUNTY ROAD B RECONSTRUCTION WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />13 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on May 5, 2025, the City Manager was <br />14 directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of Project No. 24-02 reconstructing County <br />15 Road B from Cleveland Avenue to the west edge of Sunset Park; and <br />16 WHEREAS, the City Manager has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been <br />17 completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br />18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />19 Minnesota that: <br />20 1.A hearing shall be held at 6:00 p.m. on June 2, 2025, in City Hall located at 2660 Civic <br />21 Center Drive to pass upon such proposed assessment. All persons owning property <br />22 affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to <br />23 such assessment. <br />24 2.The City Manager is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed <br />25 assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the <br />26 hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also <br />27 cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />28 roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. <br />29 3.The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />30 assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with <br />31 interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Manager, except that no interest shall <br />32 be charged if the entire assessment is paid by 4:30 p.m. October 1, 2025. An owner may, <br />33 at any time thereafter, pay to the County Auditor the entire amount of the assessment <br />34 remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such <br />Qbhf!:6!pg!248 <br /> <br />
