1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 2 OF THE 3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of th 6 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 5 day of May, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. 7 The following members were present: 8 and the following were absent: 9 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 10 RESOLUTION No. 11 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR 12 #24-04 COUNTY ROAD B RECONSTRUCTION WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 13 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on May 5, 2025, the City Manager was 14 directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of Project No. 24-02 reconstructing County 15 Road B from Cleveland Avenue to the west edge of Sunset Park; and 16 WHEREAS, the City Manager has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been 17 completed and filed in his office for public inspection. 18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, 19 Minnesota that: 20 1.A hearing shall be held at 6:00 p.m. on June 2, 2025, in City Hall located at 2660 Civic 21 Center Drive to pass upon such proposed assessment. All persons owning property 22 affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to 23 such assessment. 24 2.The City Manager is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed 25 assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the 26 hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also 27 cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment 28 roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. 29 3.The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the 30 assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with 31 interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Manager, except that no interest shall 32 be charged if the entire assessment is paid by 4:30 p.m. October 1, 2025. An owner may, 33 at any time thereafter, pay to the County Auditor the entire amount of the assessment 34 remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such Qbhf!:6!pg!248
