An unlawful structure is one found in whole or in part to be <br />occupied by more persons than permitted under this code, or was erected, altered or <br />occupied contrary to law. <br /> <br />Corrective Measures: <br /> Move misc. materials and equipment to storage inside of a structure lawful structure or remove items <br />from property. <br /> Remove and dispose of unlawful structure on property. <br />This matter will be discussed at a public hearing before Roseville’s City Council. At this public hearing, the <br />Community Development Department will request authority from the City Council to perform a City abatement <br />and contract with private companies to have all violations corrected and/or issue an administrative citation. This <br />would entail the expenditure of funds for which you, as the property owner, would be responsible to repay. If the <br />violations are corrected prior to the public hearing date, the public hearing will be cancelled, the case file closed <br />the Administrative Citations may be rescinded. <br /> <br />This public hearing will be scheduled for an upcomingCity Council meeting on May 19, 2025, for which you are <br />being be notified. City Council meetings are held in the City Council Chambers located at 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />and begin at 6:00 p.m. I encourage you to attend the meeting. You will be given the opportunity to speak.
