1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />nd <br />6 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 2 day of June, 2025, at <br />7 6:00 p.m. <br />8 The following members were present: <br />9 and the following were absent: <br />10 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />11 RESOLUTION No. <br />12 RESOLUTION FOR ADOPTING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR <br />13 #24-04 COUNTY ROAD B RECONSTRUCTION WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />14 WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the council has met and <br />15 heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for Project No. 24-02 <br />16 reconstructing County Road B from Cleveland Avenue to the west edge of Sunset Park. <br />17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />18 Minnesota that: <br />19 1.Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is <br />20 hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />21 therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br />22 proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it <br />23 2.Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of <br />24 ten-years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in <br />25 January 2026, and shall bear interest at the rate of 6.00% percent per annum from the date <br />26 of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added <br />27 interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 2025. <br />28 To each subsequent installment, when due, shall be added interest for one year on all <br />29 unpaid installments. <br />30 3.The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />31 assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with <br />32 interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Manager, except that no interest shall <br />33 be charged if the entire assessment is paid by 4:30 p.m. October 1, 2025. An owner may, <br />34 at any time thereafter, pay to the County Auditor the entire amount of the assessment <br />35 remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such <br />Qbhf!25!pg!385 <br /> <br />
