My name is Kevin Watson, my wife <br />and three kids live at 2001 Aldine St., two doors away from this empty ROW. This empty <br />ROW is an amenity to the Woodside and Ridgewood neighborhoods that appears to date <br />back to the 1980s, if not the 1970s. I've attached three Ramsey County GIS aerials from <br />the different decades that show this trail has existed going back half a century. Our <br />family and others use this ROW all the time to access Roselawn and the trail along the <br />farm fields. Specifically our family uses it to walk to the State Fair, across the UofM farm <br />fields. On nice summer days, we've used it to walk to Stouts for dinner. But mostly, we <br />use it to walk our dog around the neighborhood. I've attached pictures of other <br />neighbors walking this path with their dogs. While this is an unimproved pathway, it's <br />still a wonderful pedestrian connection and one I'd like to see remain, if not made more <br />permanent. In the icloud link below, I've attached a 2min video of me walking this path <br />this morning. You may need to download it as a zip file to open it.
