Aldine ROW Vacation <br />Feasibility Memo <br />Summary <br />1.Only have 30’ of potential ROW for a pathway <br />2.There is some support and some opposition to using this ROW for a pathway <br />3.Segment is 590’ long. The 30’ segment has significant amount of trees and would be impacted if a pathway <br />was constructed. <br />4.Costs –Could be either a sidewalk or trail. Costs vary between $84,000 -$177,000 plus additional cost for <br />crosswalk treatments if enhancement were determined to be needed. <br />5.590’ long pathway would provide ¼ mile connection. Without the connection the walk is approximately 1,900 <br />feet (~3.3x) further via Fairview or approximately 2,700 feet (~5x) further via Snelling. <br />6.Based on Pathway Master Plan scoring criteria, the preference points are 7.
