Attachment 1 <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: JUNE 16, 2025 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular or special meeting of the City Council of <br />the City of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held at City Hall on June 16, 2025, at <br />6:00 P.M., for the purpose, in part, of providing for the issuance and sale of $1,880,000 General <br />Obligation Equipment Certificates, Series 2025A. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Member ________________ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. ______________ <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF $1,880,000 GENERAL <br />OBLIGATION EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATES, SERIES 2025A <br />A.WHEREAS, the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Roseville, Minnesota <br />(the "City") has heretofore determined that it is necessary and expedient to issue the City's <br />$1,880,000 General Obligation Equipment Certificates, Series 2025A (the "Certificates "), to <br />finance the acquisition of a fire truck for the City; and <br />B.WHEREAS, the City has retained Ehlers & Associates, Inc., in Roseville, <br />Minnesota ("Ehlers"), as its independent municipal advisor for the Certificates in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.60, Subdivision 2(9). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1.Authorization. The Council hereby authorizes Ehlers to assist the City for the sale <br />of the Certificates. <br />2.Meeting; Proposal Opening. The Council shall meet at 6:00 P.M. on July 21, 2025, <br />for the purpose of considering proposals for and awarding the sale of the Certificates. <br />3.Official Statement. In connection with said sale, the officers or employees of the <br />City are hereby authorized to cooperate with Ehlers and participate in the preparation of an official <br />statement for the Certificates and to execute and deliver it on behalf of the City upon its <br />completion. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member _______________________ and, after full discussion thereof and upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following Council Members voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />173238106v1 <br />Qbhf!83!pg!464 <br /> <br />
