Requested grant amount: <br /> <br />%:-111 <br /> <br />Equity criteria <br />Municipalities are expected to develop equity-focused criteria to determine participation requirements <br />for residents. This pilot program aims to reach residents in the region for whom the traditional program <br />may be challenging to participate in (due to up-front costs, program requirements for participation, <br />language barriers, awareness of the program, and more). <br />The Met Council has developed maps, data, and other resources related to prioritizing equity that can <br />be used to inform a municipality’s equity criteria: <br /> Equity priority areas mapping tool <br /> Equity Considerations Dataset <br />o Landing page <br />o Interactive tool <br />o GIS data and user guide <br /> HousingLink subsidized housing addresses by city <br />Municipalities are not required to use the resources provided by the Met Council and can develop <br />criteria based on locally available data or other information. <br /> <br />2.
