The plan was reviewed by a subject matter <br />expert in TUPs to identify ways in which the plan could be developed in a more inclusive manner, <br />resulting in substantive changes to the plan. <br />th <br />After completing the draft plan, it was opened for public review from December 9, 2024, through <br />th <br />December 20, 2024. The plan was posted for online access, and acomment toolwas developed to <br />collect comments. Comments received were reviewed and integrated as appropriate. <br />Stakeholders are the individuals, agencies, and jurisdictions that have a vested interest in the <br />recommendations of the HMP, including all planning partners. The planning process prioritized <br />extensive representation from regional, county and local areas. Stakeholders were given a chance to <br />review the plan during the plan review process. Jurisdictional representatives for each participating <br />jurisdiction were also asked to serve as brokers to stakeholders within their own communities when <br />providing plan inputs. <br />Table 3. All meetings were <br />held virtually, via Microsoft Teams. <br />Meeting #1 focused on introducing the planning process to the LPT and discussing reporting for <br />community capabilities and progress on 2019 HMP mitigation actions. <br />Meeting #2 focused on the initial results of the HIRA process. <br />Meeting #3 focused on community hazard mitigation strategy development. <br />Additionally, a series of informal mitigation strategy update support meetings were held virtually with <br />communities upon request to discuss potential ideas for hazard mitigation actions.
