REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
Date: 8/11/2025
Item No.: 10.g.
Department ApprovalCity Manager Approval
Item Description:Approve Facility Management Agreement with McGough Facility
Management, LLC
1
2 Background
3 In 2023, the City of Roseville approved an extension to the facility management contract
4 with McGough Facility Management. The current contract will expire July 31, 2026. They
5 have been providing this service to the city since 2015, to provide support for facility
6 management of the City Hall complex, Maintenance Facility and the License Center.
7
8 Even with the Maintenance Operation Center and the License Passport Center and Dance
9 Studio project moving forward, all these sites served by the agreement will still be in use at
10 the end of 2026. To align with the budget year, staff requested an amendment to the
11 contract to extend it five months or until December 31, 2026. This is the only change to the
12 contract.
13
14 The extension will also allow staff to investigate changes to this service going forward since
15 more details on the Maintenance Operation Center and the License Passport Center and
16 Dance Studio project will be known a year from now. Staff would anticipate releasing a new
17 Request for Proposal for this service in later 2026 based on the new facility information.
18
19 Policy Objectives
20 The City and the Public Works Department strive to provide efficient and effective services
21 utilizing skilled staff or professional services from the private sector. Service delivery needs
22 can change over time due to technology changes or available skilled resources.
23
24 Equity Impact Summary
25 There should be no equity impacts associated with this agreement.
26
27 Budget Implications
28 There is no increase in the cost of the contract for the extension of the contract. The 2026
29 price will be the same for the extended term of the contract.
30
31 Staff Recommendations
Qbhf!248!pg!286
