APPROVAL OF MINUTES – MAY 6, 2025 MEETING <br /> <br />Commissioner Botzek moved to approve the minutes. Commissioner Harris seconded. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Arneson, Botzek, Boulton,Donaldson, Harris, Her, Kooistra, Matts-Benson, <br />Penny. <br />Nays: None. <br />Abstain: Beckman. <br /> <br />4. OTHER BUSINESS <br />a) DEPARTMENTAL UPDATES <br /> The Roseville Figure Skating Club hosted the “Roseville Open 2025” competition at the <br />Roseville Skating Center from May 15–18, 2025. The event welcomed over 100 participants <br />from six different states. <br /> The annual “Flower Power” volunteer planting event took place on May 17, 2025, along the <br />Lexington Avenue boulevard. More than 100 volunteers helped fill the flowerbeds with <br />vibrant blooms in just one hour. Special thanks to the Friends of Roseville Parks for their <br />generous donation of the flowers. <br />The new playground at Lexington Park officially opened on May 30, 2025. Community <br />feedback has been extremely positive. Special thanks to the Friends of Roseville Parks for <br />their generous $75,000 donation to support expanded ADA accessibility. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
