She noted that staff <br />36 has not yet received the wayfinding signage, but public engagement will be <br />37 conducted by the end of the year. <br />38 <br />39 Ms. Lowry reviewed the Ramsey County and MnDOT project and noted that the <br />40 City was fully staffed with new hires and interns. She also reviewed the Water <br />41 Efficiency Rebate Program. <br />42 <br />43 Chair Ficek arrived at 6:38 p.m. and commented on the Hamline bike experiment, <br />44 noting that it has been successful with only afew pylons hit and has slowed traffic. <br />45 <br />46 Ms. Lowry mentioned collecting data for speed analysis and traffic counts before <br />47 and after the project. <br />48 <br />49 The Commission discussed snow clearing responsibilities, with Ms. Lowry <br />50 explaining that the City would handle bike lanes and the county would handle the <br />51 roads. <br />52 <br />53 5. Engineering Intern Presentations <br />54 Assistant Public Works Director / City Engineer Jennifer Lowry said two of the <br />55 city's engineering summer interns attended the meeting to give a brief presentation <br />56 of their work and experiences. <br />57 0 <br />58 Ms. Anisa Riaz provided her background history and gave a presentation on her <br />59 work in the city so far, which included pavement management, erosion control <br />60 inspection, and traffic counts. <br />61 <br />62 Mr. Reily Sieren provided his background and gave a presentation on his work in <br />63 the city this summer, which included traffic counts, erosion control inspections, the <br />64 guardrail project, and the Warren Pathways project. <br />65 <br />66 Both interns talked about their fieldwork experiences, challenges, and favorite parts <br />67 of their internship. <br />68 <br />69 6. Civic Campus Master Plan <br />70 Assistant Public Works Director / City Engineer Jennifer Lowry provided an update <br />71 on the Civic Campus Master Plan, architectural RFP, and RFQ for a construction <br />72 manager at risk. <br />73 <br />74 Discussion continued on the importance of the Civic Campus Master Plan and the <br />75 role of the committee involving commissioners, residents, and the VFW. <br />76 <br />77 7.
