From: Gary Gustafson <br />TO: RV Fro neerina; Jesse Freihammer <br />Cc: Gary Gustafson <br />Subject: Compost Site <br />Date: Friday, September 12, 2025 2:42:23 PM <br />[You don't often get email from Learn why this is important at <br />httos://aka.ms/LeamAboutSenderldentification ] <br />Caution: This email originated outside our organization; please use caution. <br />Attention Jesse. <br />I have lived in Roseville over 30 years <br />When they put up signs to build the Senior building on C and Dale, I predicted that within 10 years <br />they would be pressuring the City to remove the compost site. <br />I said then that I would vigorously resist their efforts. <br />They knew going in that the site was there and smelled of compost. <br />The Compost site is a place where residents gather as they recycle kitchen waste, leaves, and other yard waste. <br />We greet each other and encourage each other as we go about our chores and efforts to beautify and maintain our <br />properties. <br />Roseville is better for its citizens having this site in every way! <br />As far as criminal dumping is concerned, the gate is already there and locked. <br />Place people, whether paid staff or utilizing volunteers to track site use. <br />Citizens already must show ID at other sites around, so it does not add onerous burden to those who live here. <br />Cameras, which have become quite inexpensive, can be placed to track illegal dumping during locked hours. <br />There is no reason to eliminate such a city treasure as this (regardless of odor). <br />Blessings, <br />Gary Gustafson <br />1134 Rose Place <br />Roseville, Mn. 55113 <br />Pres.
