81 One key difference in the proposed agreement is a monthly retainer fee--$300/month for impound <br />82 boarding services and $150/month for Reserve Animal Control services. Despite these retainer fees, <br />83 RPD believes the currently requested 2026 Animal Control budget will be sufficient to cover anticipated <br />84 costs and retainer fees. It should be noted that animal control budgeting is inherently unpredictable; <br />85 circumstances such as a large-scale abandonment case could create substantial unplanned costs.
