REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 9/15/2025 <br />Item No.: 7.d. <br />Department ApprovalCity Manager Approval <br />Item Description:Select Architect for Civic Campus Project <br />1 <br />2 Background <br />3 At the July 7, 2025 City Council meeting, the Council approved moving the Civic Campus <br />4 project forward using Concept C from the Civic Campus Master Plan Update that was <br />5 presented on June 16, 2025. At the June 21, 2025 City Council meeting, the Council <br />6 approved the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Architectural Services (Attachment 1) related <br />7 to the Civic Campus Master Plan. <br />8 <br />9 The Architect RFP scope includes completing the overall design of the Maintenance <br />10 Operations Center (MOC) and the License Passport Center and Dance Studio (LPCDS). <br />11 The project scope would be broken into finalizing concept design, doing schematic design, <br />12 design development and final construction documents. The scope includes doing additional <br />13 environmental assessment and geotechnical work.
