<br />Dated: <br /> <br />NORTH SUBURBAN AREA <br />PROPOSAL COMPLIANCE ANALYSIS <br /> <br />The following are requirements of the proposal for cable <br />television service to the North SUburban Cable service territory. <br />Please review these requirements and explain in detail under <br />the "Compliance" column your compliance with these requirements. <br />Should you require more space for your response, either expand <br />the forms, or reference attached material. If you believe your <br />compliance has been modified or excused by official action of <br />the Cable Commission, or otherwise, please explain with specificity, <br />referencing and quoting the official document which modifies <br />or excuses your obligations. <br /> <br />Note: Any failure to list a proposal requirement shall <br />in no way excuse your existing obligation to comply. This list <br />is only a summary for the purpose of general compliance measurement <br />and evaluation. The original proposal and any related documents <br />shall remain the regulatory instruments of the member cities <br />and the Commission. <br /> <br />Requirements <br /> <br />Compliance <br /> <br />Franchisee commits: <br /> <br />1. To construct a dual cable system <br />with one activated cable providing <br />59 activated channels downstream <br />to subscribers and 4 activated <br />channels upstream~ plus a full <br />video information retrieval channel; <br />and to partiçìpate in a review <br />of the need to activate the second <br />cable in Years 3, 5, 8, and 10 <br />of the franchise periods. <br /> <br />2. To provide subscribers with three <br />serviçe tier options, including <br />a 22-channel universal service, <br />a 59-channel basic service, and <br />a 59-channel interactive service. <br /> <br />3. To complete system by November 12, <br />1984, making available, at that <br />time, service to all dwelling <br />units within the initial service <br />area, and completing the institutional <br />network as proposed. <br />
