Attachment 8 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the ___day _______, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Member _____ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. ______ RESOLUTION APPROVING PUBLICATION OF AN ORDINANCE SUMMARY OF ORD No. _____ IMPLEMENTING A GAS SERVICE FRANCHISE FEE ON NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY, A MINNESOTA CORPORATION, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, FOR PROVIDING ELECTRIC SERVICE WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville, on ______ 2025, adopted Ordinance No. _____; entitled “AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING A GAS SERVICE FRANCHISE FEE ON NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY, A MINNESOTA CORPORATION, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, FOR PROVIDING GAS SERVICE WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE;” and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the following summary would clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance and where to obtain a copy of the full text.
