November 13, 2025 <br />H and K Glass LLC <br />2597 Cleveland Ave N <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />RE: Private Hydrant Repair (FH 8-186, south west corner of building) - 2597 Cleveland Ave N, Roseville <br />MN 55113 <br />Dear Property Owner: <br />The City of Roseville is committed to protecting private property by having all fire hydrants operational <br />as required by City Code. City Code 801.20 (on backside of this letter) requires all private hydrants to be <br />inspected annually and always maintained in operative condition. The City performed inspections of the <br />hydrant on your property on July 15, 2024 and June 9, 2025. The City sent you notice of the condition of <br />the hydrant on September 9, 2025 and ordered that you need to complete repairs by October 10, 2025. <br />You have failed to notify the City that the necessary repairs have been made. You are receiving this <br />letter to notify you that the City intends to take the below-described corrective measures, and you will <br />be responsible for the costs. <br />The specific violation on your property is: <br />Inoperable private fire hydrant <br />City Staff intend to take the following Corrective Measures: <br />Repair/replace fire hydrant so it is in operable condition <br /> on November 24, 2025. <br />At this public hearing, the Public Works Department will request authority from the City Council to <br />contract with private companies to have all violations corrected. This would entail the expenditure of <br />funds for which you, as the property owner, would be responsible for repaying. If the violations are <br />corrected prior to the public hearing date, the public hearing will be cancelled and the case file closed. <br />City Council meetings are held in the City Council Chambers located at 2660 Civic Center Drive and <br />begin at 6:00 p.m. I encourage you to attend the meeting. You will be given the opportunity to speak.
