The City received a complaint and verified code violations at your <br />property. The City of Roseville intends to hold a public hearing before City Council to discuss possible <br />administrative citation or abatement for the violations identified below: <br /> Unlicensed and inoperable vehicles stored outside on property. <br /> Outside storage of chest freezer. <br /> <br />This is a violation of Roseville’s City Code, specifically: <br /> 407.02 G(2), Parking and Storage: : The outside parking or storage on residentially-zoned property of <br />vehicles, materials, supplies or equipment in violation of the provisions set forth below: <br />c. Vehicles of any type in inoperable condition <br /> 407.02 G(4), Vehicle Parking, General: No person shall cause, undertake, permit or allow the outside <br />parking and storage of vehicles in residentially-zoned property unless it complies with the following <br />requirements: (Ord. 1288, 8-4-2003) (Ord. 1577, 9-9-2019) <br />b. Vehicles, must be owned by a person who is a legal resident of that property and continuously <br />maintain current registration and licensure. (Ord. 1466, 04-21-2014) <br /> 407.03 I, Junk: The outside piling, storing or keeping of old machinery, furniture, household furnishings or <br />appliances or component parts thereof, rusting metal inoperable/unusable equipment, or other debris <br />visible on private or public property. <br /> <br />Corrective Measures: <br /> Ensure all vehicles stored outside are operable and display current licensure, move unlicensed and / or <br />inoperable vehicles to storage inside of a structure, or remove inoperable and/or unlicensed vehicles <br />from property. <br /> Move chest freezer to storage inside of a structure or remove chest freezer from property. <br /> <br />This matter will be discussed at a public hearing before Roseville’s City Council. At this public hearing, the <br />Community Development Department will request authority from the City Council to perform a City abatement <br />and contract with private companies to have all violations corrected and/or issue an administrative citation. This <br />would entail the expenditure of funds for which you, as the property owner, would be responsible to repay. If the <br />violations are corrected prior to the public hearing date, the public hearing will be cancelled and the case file <br />closed. <br />Qbhf!8:!pg!384 <br /> <br />
