For <br />2026 these improvements include Walnut Street and Terminal Road between Walnut St and the <br />RR tracks. Many of the city streets are over 25 years old and are at the end of the expected design <br />life. The City uses this line item to rehabilitate pavements and curbs as part of Pavement <br />Management Program (PMP) projects and to do complete street reconstructions. This work <br />extends the life of the streets, lessens overall street maintenance, and provides quality surface for <br />transportation purposes.
