I have experienced Roseville from multiple vantage points—both as someone who feels a strong sense of belonging and as someone who has, at times, navigated systems and spaces that were not fully inclusive. My lived experience gives me insight into how policies, programs, and community engagement efforts impact residents differently depending on race, culture, age, and access to resources. I understand the importance of creating spaces where all residents feel seen, heard, and valued, not just in intention but in everyday practice. Having grown up alongside Roseville’s changing demographics, I am especially motivated to ensure that city initiatives reflect and serve the diversity of families and individuals who now call Roseville home. I also bring the perspective of someone who is invested in Roseville’s future. This is not a temporary role for me—it is about contributing to a city that I have grown up in and hope future generations will experience as welcoming, inclusive, and equitable. I see my lived experiences as a bridge between history and progress, helping the City shape equity and inclusion initiatives that are informed by community trust, cultural awareness, and a genuine understanding of residents’ needs.
