1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Councilof the City of <br />rd <br />6 Roseville, Minnesota was duly held on the 23 day of February, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. <br />7 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor , and the <br />8 following were absent: . <br />9 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />10 RESOLUTION No. <br />11 RESOLUTION APPROVING EASEMENT FOR MNDOT PARCEL 308A <br />12 WHEREAS, the portion of the land is legally described as all of the following: <br />13 Drainage easements in perpetuity being that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest <br />14 Quarter of Section 10, Township 29 North, Range 23 West, shown as Parcel 308A and <br />15 designated as drainage easements on Minnesota Department of Transportation Right of Way <br />16 Plat Numbered 62-93 as the same is on file and of record in the office of the County <br />17 Recorder in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota; the titles thereto being registered as <br />18 evidenced by Certificate of Title Nos. 234800 and 236149 (the “Property”); and <br />19 WHEREAS, The Minnesota Department of Transportation has offered to buy a permanent <br />20 easement on this parcel for drainage purposes in the amount of $4,300.00; and <br />21 WHEREAS, the City has no objection to the permanent easement; and <br />22 WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute § 462.356, Subd. 2, provides that the City shall not dispose of an <br />23 interest in real property until the Planning Agency has reviewed the proposed disposal and reported <br />24 in writing to the City Council its findings as to the compliance of the proposed disposal with the <br />25 Comprehensive Plan; and <br />26 WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute § 462.356, Subd. 2, further provides that the City Council may, by <br />27 resolution adopted by two-thirds vote, dispense with the requirements of Minnesota Statute <br />28 § 462.356, Subd. 2, when in its judgment it finds that the proposed disposal of real property has no <br />29 relationship to the Comprehensive Plan. <br />30 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />31 Minnesota as follows: The City hereby approves the attached Easement, and authorizes the <br />32 Mayor, Daniel J. Roe, and City Manager, Patrick Trudgeon, to execute the Easement, and <br />33 authorizes the City Manager to perform all other actions and execute all other documents <br />34 necessary sell this easement to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br />Qbhf!248!pg!2:7 <br /> <br />
