Roseville Sustainability <br />Green Team <br />On May 7, 2018, the City Council approved Resolution #11507 that named <br />the Public Works Environment and Transportation Commission as the <br />Green Step Cities Green Team. <br />• Per the resolution, the Green Team shall: <br />• Approve and make available to the community an annual sustainability update <br />report containing goals and outcomes of community plans and sustainability <br />initiatives. <br />• Evaluate existing and proposed policies to identify any overlooked opportunities <br />for pursuing sustainability and environmental stewardship, and make <br />recommendations for amending these policies. <br />• Undertake its best efforts to communicate with and engage residents, businesses, <br />and institutions in the implementation of sustainable practices to help meet City <br />goals. <br />• Advise City staff members and officials on efforts to educate community members <br />about the City vision and ongoing opportunities to participate in sustainability <br />initiatives. <br />• Collect feedback from the community and provide recommendations for utilizing <br />this feedback to improve City practices and programs. <br />• Provide recommendations for further research and programs to implement in the <br />City to promote sustainability and protect the environment. <br />
