Attachment 6 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of rd Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23 day of March 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Councilmember __________ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. _________ A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN MAP DESIGNATION FROM EMPLOYMENT AND CORE MIXED-USE TO INSTITUTIONAL FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1500 HIGHWAY 36 (PF26-001) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at a public hearing held on March 4, 2026, pertaining to the request they received from Minnesota State Patrol for a Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment on property commonly known as 1500 Highway 36; and WHEREAS, the proposed Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment requires a map designation change for the property from Employment and Core Mixed-Use to Institutional; and WHEREAS, said Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment applies to the following three properties: Two properties addressed 1500 Highway 36 and the unaddressed parcel south across Commerce Street PIN 10-29-23-33-0001, 10-29-23-34-0002, and 10-29-23-33-0002 WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted the required public hearing, discussed the proposal, and considered the information and attachments provided in the Request for Planning Commission Action dated March 4, 2026, then recommended approval (7-0) of the request; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council at their meeting of March 23, 2026, discussed the proposal and considered the information and attachments provided in the Request for City Council Action dated March 23, 2026, regarding the subject request; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby approves the amendment to the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Map from Employment and Core Mixed-Use to Institutional (See Attachment A), subject to the approval of the Comprehensive Plan Map Change by the Metropolitan Council. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member ________ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _______________ And the following voted against the same:_____________ WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
