Roseville Public Works, Environment <br />and Transportation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. <br />City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br />1. Introduction / Roll Call <br />Chair Ficek called the meeting to order at approximately 6:30 p.m. and at his <br />request, Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer called the roll. <br />Present: Chair Bryant Ficek, Vice Chair Edwin Hodder, and Members Daniel <br />Fergus, Allison Luongo, and Katie Brokaw Palalay <br />Youth Commissioners: Carsten Bauer, and Alexis Jendro <br />Absent: Members Jarrod Cicha and Des Mueller (Excused) <br />Staff Present: Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer <br />2. Approve Agenda <br />Motion <br />Member Fergus moved, Member Luongo seconded, approval of the March 24, <br />2026 Agenda as presented. <br />Ayes: 7 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />3. Public Comments <br />Vice Chair Hodder explained that he wanted to draw attention to a Star Tribune <br />article on large data centers and noted that residents were now expressing concerns <br />about smaller facilities. He asked whether the City currently had any data centers. <br />Public Works Director Freihammer responded that they were not aware of any data <br />centers in the city. It was noted that such facilities are typically constructed on <br />larger parcels of land, which are limited within the city, although smaller -scale <br />versions could exist.
