Roseville Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission
Agenda Item
DATE: April 28, 2026 ITEM: 6.b.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: Approve Bike Plan
Background
Roseville was awarded an Active Transportation Planning Assistance grant from MnDOT that Roseville used
to create a bike plan to complement our existing Pathway Master Plan. The Bike Plan was produced with the
assistance of a MnDOT consultant team and reviewed by the Bike Plan Committee, consisting of
representatives from various City departments and commissions, Roseville Public Schools, Ramsey County,
and a Roseville resident. Public engagement during the development of the Plan is noted in the Plan's
appendices.
The Plan was first introduced to PWET on March 26, 2024, with updates in April and June of 2024, and
March and September of 2025. In addition, it was shared with the Parks & Recreation Commission in
October 2025. The draft Plan is posted on the City website and public comments were solicited from
October 10 — November 30, 2025.
Attached is the updated draft Bike Plan with appendices for your review and discussion. Staff will make a
short presentation at the meeting and seek Commission feedback and a recommendation to City Council.
The Plan will also be brought back to the Parks & Recreation Commission, then the City Council.
Recommendation
Receive update and recommend City Council approve The Bike Plan.
Attachments
1.
