<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting on the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the city <br />Hall on the twenty-fifth day of June, 1990, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, Johnson, and Rog, <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />councilmember Maschka introduced the fOllowing resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 8584 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1990 CONTRACT G <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office <br />of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on June 19, 1990, <br />at 11:00 o'clock a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />F. M. Frattalone Excavating <br />G. L. Contracting, Inc. <br /> <br />$401,673.40 <br />$623,674.16 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that F. M. Frattalone Excavating of st. Paul, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of <br />$401,673.40, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with F. M. Frattalone Excavating for $401,673.40 <br />in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except <br />the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Councilmember Johnson and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, Johnson, and Rog, <br />and the following voted against: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
