<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 23rd day of July, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Johnson, Maschka, Thomas, and <br />Rog, and the following were absent: Cushman. <br /> <br />Member Thomas introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8594 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO COOPERATIVE EFFORTS BETWEEN <br />CITIES OF ROSEVILLE AND FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Falcon Heights city Council adopted a resolution inviting <br />Roseville to join in a cooperative effort to explore areas of <br />potential benefit to both communities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council adopted a resolution agreeing to <br />investigate cooperative efforts with the City of Falcon Heights; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Councils met in a j oint work session on July 12, <br />1990, to review a proposed process for the study of the benefits of <br />joint efforts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Councils agreed to place on their next regular Council <br />meeting agendas a resolution to initiate the study; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proposed study design, <br />dated July 19, 1990, consisting of four phases, be approved. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a consultant be retained to assist with <br />the project subject to Foundation grant support. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City staffs shall work jointly to <br />apply for Foundation grants to support the study. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City staffs shall work jointly to <br />prepare a Request for Proposal to be sent to prospective consultants. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Johnson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Maschka, Thomas, and Rog, <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
