<br />Eegular meeting of the Village Council, Tuesday, September 27, 1960

<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members
<br />present: Mayor Cedarholm, Carlson, Flanagan and Shields. Attorney
<br />Loft.sgaarden and Engineer Soutter were also present. Keene Was absent.
<br />

<br />Shields Moved, Flanagan Seconded that the minutes of Tuesday, Septem- MINUTES
<br />ber 20, 1960, be accepted after the following corrections:
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Carlson Seconded, that the Reiling request for rezoning
<br />from R-l to Shopping Center Business District of the E. 400 feet of the
<br />SEi of Section 3, Township 29, Range 23, except the So 823 feet thereof,
<br />be referred to the planning commission. Roll Call, Ayes (5)-Nays (0).
<br />Shields Moved, Keene Seconded that special permits to build apartments
<br />on: the southerly 298 feet of the northerly 373 feet of the westerly
<br />one-half of lot 11 of Auditor's Subdivision No.. 46, Ramsey County, Minn.
<br />is owned by Fred and Margaret Kruse and Herbert H.. and June E. Radman,
<br />the Radman's owning the north 174 feet thereof and the Kruses owning
<br />the south 124 feet thereof: also the southerly one hundred forty-
<br />nine (149') feet of the southerly two hundred ninety-eight (298') feet
<br />of the northerly three hundred seventy-three (3731) feet of the westerly
<br />one-half (1/2) of Lot Eleven (11) of Auditor's Subdivision No. 46,
<br />Ramsey County, Minnesota: be referred to the Planning Commission for
<br />public hearing October 5, 1960. Roll Call Ayes (5) - Nays (0)..
<br />Hotion concerning Emil Moline should read: Carlson Moved, Shields
<br />Seconded, that the special permit be granted to Emil Moline to
<br />build on a 65 foot lot as a variance to the ordinance due to hard-
<br />ship.. Roll Call Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
<br />The Kroiss Northwood Plat should read the Kroiss Northwood Final
<br />Plat #l Public Hearing.

<br />Carlson Moved, Shields Seconded, that the Resolution (#379) fixing
<br />t.erms and directing execution and delivery of $1,000,000 Sanitary
<br />Sewer Improvement Bonds, Series H, be adopted, Roll Call, Ayes (4)-
<br />Nays CO).
<br />
<br />111'0 Harry Peterson, 1043 Sherren, and Mr. Markham 1047 Sherren
<br />appeared before the Council to report that there is a large puddle
<br />on Sherren Avenue that covers four or five lots. Action had been
<br />started on this problem previously, and it was decided that the re-
<br />i}C,rt should be taken from file and the Village Engineer should bring
<br />it up to date.

<br />Carlson Moved, Flanagan Seconded, that the Village Engineer bring
<br />the file up to date and report back October 4, on the Sharren Ave.,
<br />drainage situation. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Mr. Leo Cullen appeared representing the North Dale - McCarron
<br />Water Improvement Association requesting that the Village of
<br />Rosevi.lle give them permission to connect to St. Paul water main,
<br />for the area of Ryan, Mounds View, Shryer, from Dale to Mackubin,
<br />and Eldridge, Belmont, Skillman, Shryer from Dale to Alameda, in-
<br />clusive. They distributed a letter to members of the Council which
<br />said that St. Paul City Council had given their permission to pro-
<br />ceed with the project.
