<br />Regular meeting of the Village Council, Wednesday, November 9, 1960.

<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members
<br />present: Mayor Cedarholm, Carlson, Flanagan, Keene and Shields.
<br />Attorney Loftsgaarden and Engineer Soutter were also present.
<br />
<br />Flanagan Moved, Shields Seconded, that the minutes of November 1, 1960, MINUTES
<br />be approved as presented. Roll Call Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Carlson Seconded, that the Mount Dale Addition Final
<br />Plat be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Mr. John Daubney, appeared before the Council to explain the plans
<br />for the Jubilee Shopping Store. Shields Moved, Keene Seconded, that
<br />the plans be referred to the Village Engineer and the Building In-
<br />spector for their opinion. Roll Call, Ayes (5)_Nays (0).

<br />Mr. E. Day, 2001 N. Asbury, and Mr. Thompson, 2008 Asbury, appeared
<br />to say they were in favor of the granting of the special use permit
<br />to Mr. Slawik. Shields Moved, Keene Seconded, that the recommenda-
<br />tion of the Planning Commission be followed and that a special use
<br />permit be granted and that it finally become effective only after
<br />complying with the eleven conditions attached to the minutes on file
<br />in the Village Hall. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

<br />Shields Moved, Carlson Seconded, that the Whaley Rezoning be re-
<br />ferred to the Planning Commission Efter the Village Engineer has
<br />checked the description on the land 01~ers certificate. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

<br />Shields Moved, Keene Seconded, that Resolution #400 relating to a
<br />hearing on reassessment and supplemental assessment for sanitary
<br />sewer improvement no. 2, be adopted. Roll Call,Ayes(5)-Nays (0).

<br />Shields Moved, Flanagan Seconded, that Resolution #401, relating to
<br />appor'tionment of assessments on sanitary sewer improvement no. 1, be

<br />apportionment of assessments en sanitary sewer improvement no. 2, be

<br />Banister Engineering be laid over until November IS, 1960. Roll

<br />Shields Moved, Keene Seconded, that the Mayor be authorized to write
<br />to the City of Minneapolis asking them to consider negotiations for
