<br />~- Village Council met on the above date with the following members
<br />pressnt: Mayor Cedarholm, Carlson, Flanagan, and Shields. Keene was
<br />absent. Attorney Lof'tsgaarden and Engineer Soutter were also present.

<br />Flanagan Moved, Carlson Seconded, that the minutes of' November 1.5, 1960, MINUTES
<br />be approved as presented. Roll Call, Ayes (h) - Nays (0)
<br />
<br />John Daubney, attorney, submitted an application for George Reiling, REILING REZONING
<br />requesting the rezoning from R-1 to Shopping Center Business District,
<br />of the E. 669.78 feet of the N. 191.5.03 feet of the Et of the SEi of
<br />Section 3, Township 29, Range 23, except the S. 823 feet of the E.h80
<br />feet thereof. Shields Moved, Carlson Seconded, that the Reiling re-
<br />quest for rezoning be referred to the Planning Commission. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).

<br />cribed in the minutes of November 1.5, 1960. Shields Moved, Carlson
<br />Seconded, that the original petition submitted by Control Data be
<br />withdrawn, and that their revised petition be accepted. Roll Call,

<br />Shields Moved, Carlson Secomed, that the public hearing on the Control
<br />Date. request for rezoning be held December 7, 1960, at 7:30 P.M. by the
<br />Planning Commis sion, and December 13, 1960, at 8: 00 P.M. by the Village
<br />Council. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0)

<br />Mr. George Loss 670 Eldridge, appeared to ask the Council to write a RAMSEY COUNTY SPORTS
<br />letter to the Ramsey County Board opposing the location of' the Sports ARENA
<br />Arena. Shields Moved, Flanagan Seconded, that the Clerk be authorized
<br />to write to the Ramsey County Board statj.ng that the Rosevil1e Village
<br />Council is opposed to the present location of' the Ramse,y County Sports
<br />Arena, and favor a more central location,. Roll Call, Ayes(4)-lIays (0)

<br />J.rustee Shields read a report from the Village Engineer on a request STREET LIGHT
<br />from Roger Toogood 279.5 Galtier, asking that a street light be placed
<br />on Iona Lane and Galtier. Shields Moved, Flanagan Sec,onded, that this
<br />request be granted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0)

<br />Shields Moved, Carlson Seconded, that the report from the Village Engi-
<br />neer be placed on file. Roll Call, Ayes (h) - Nays (0).

<br />Shields Moved, Flanagan Seconded, that the recommendation of the engi- STREET LIGHT
<br />neer be followed and that a street light be placed at Larpenteur and
<br />Woodbridge Court. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
