<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting on the city <br />council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City <br />Hall on the thirteenth day of August, 1990, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, Johnson, <br />and Rog, <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Thomas <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the fOllowing resolution and moved its <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. <br /> <br />8598 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1990 CONTRACT B <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office <br />of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on August 9, 1990, <br />at 10:30 o'clock a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />T. Schifsky and Sons <br />Munn Blacktop <br />Central Landscaping <br />Ashbach Construction <br />Midwest Asphalt <br />Alber Construction <br />Bituminous Roadways <br /> <br />$175,110.10 <br />$181,327.96 <br />$182,228.45 <br />$198,217.45 <br />$209,512.30 <br />$210,057.70 <br />$221,915.80 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsky and Sons of N. st. Paul, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of <br />$175,110.10.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with T. A. Schifsky and Sons for $175,110.10 in <br />the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore <br />approved by the city council and on file in the office of the city <br />Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except <br />the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
