<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council, Friday, August 4, 1961. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Flanagan, Reinecke, <br />McGee and Shields. Attorney Bell, Engineer Soutter and Village <br />Clerk Turnlund were also present. <br /> <br />Reinecke Moved, Flanagan Seconded that the Minutes of the Council <br />Meeting of July 14., 1961 be accepted as presented. Roll Call, <br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Reinecke Seconded that the Clerk be authorized <br />to open the bids on the Village Hall remodelling. Roll Call, <br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Flanagan Seconded that the bids for remodelling <br />the Village Hall be referred to the Village Engineer for <br />tabulation and report back to the Council on August 11, 1961. <br />Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Reinecke Seconded that the public hearing on the <br />request by George Reiling for rezoning of property located <br />at County Road C and Lexington Avenue be continued until <br />August 11, 1961. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).. <br /> <br />McGee Moved, Flanagan Seconded that the final plat of the <br />Matkaiti Addition be approved and that the Mayor and Village <br />Clerk be authorized to sign the documents subject to the <br />approval of the Village Attorney. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Reinecke Seconded that the pnhlic hearing on <br />the request by Donald Roberts for rezoning of property located <br />at County Road B and Highway No. 280 be continued until <br />August 11, 1961, and that the Council as a body go out to <br />view the property. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Reinecke Moved, McGee Seconded that the public hearing on the <br />request of H. and Val J. Rothchild for rezoning of property <br />located at County Road C2 and Hamline Avenue be continued to <br />August 25, 1961; and that in the interim the petition from <br />the residents in the immediate area be referred to the <br />Recreation Board for their further study as to the use of this <br />property for park and playground area and that they recommend <br />back to the Council on August 25, 1961, what their feelings are <br />in regard to the use of the property. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays <br /> <br />McGee Moved, Reinecke Seconded that Ordinance Number 328 <br />amending Section 7.220 (6) of the Village Code be adopted. <br />Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Reinecke Moved, Shields Seconded that Ordinance Number 329 <br />amending the Village Code by adding Section 201.160 be <br />adopted.
