VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE

j(egular Meeting of the Village Council, May 28, 1962.

The Village Council met on the above date with the following members
I
present: Mayor McGee, Trustees Reinecke, Goodrich, Kustermann and
Flanagan.

Goodrich Moved, Kustermann Seconded, that the minutes for the meeting
of May 14, 1962, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

Reinecke Moved, Flanagan Seconded, that the variance request of Louis N.
Millette be granted to build a house with 760 square foot area instead
of the 960 foot minimum requirement of the code, due to the fact that
other homes on that same street and in that same block are smaller than
what the code requires , and to require Mr. Mi llette to build a home
required by the ordinance would work an undue hardship on him. Roll
Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

Flanagan Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that Kenneth W. Green's request for
a variance for a five foot sideyard setback be granted since to conform
to the ten foot setback would incur a hardship due to the fact the
property was developed prior to the establishment of the present ordinance.
Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

Goodrich Moved, Flanagan Seconded, that the Graf variance for an addition
to the house and a IS foot garage be granted, this being less than the
tandard ten foot sideyard setback required by the code, inasmuch as the
other residences and garages in this area are established with a five foot
setback and this was set up prior to the passing of the original code.
Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

Flanagan Moved, Reinecke Seconded, that the variance to the electric
horsepower limitation as requested by Joseph ~1ichael Huber be approved,
since to comply with the present ordinance would be a hardship to the
Huber Company and possibly have a deleterious effect on the surrounding
property. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

Flanagan Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the ~1idway Ford problem with the
police squad cars be referred to the attorney for study and report back
June 4,1962. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

Reinecke Moved, Kustermann Seconded, that the building permi t for the
Huber Sign Company for their proposed building to the east of their
present building on B and Dale, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) -
Nays (0).

Reinecke Moved, Kustermann Seconded, that a public hearing be set up
for the Rubenstein variance for the car wash at the corner of B and
Snelling for June 11, 1962.
