<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council, June 4, 1962. <br /> <br />llie Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />nembers present: Acting Mayor Flanagan, Trustees Goodrich and <br />:ustermann. Mayor McGee and Trustee Reinecke were absent. <br /> <br />loodrich Moved, Kustermann Seconded that: WHEREAS, it appears <br />~e, Midway Ford Company has made a clerical error in submitting its <br />lid dated the 12th day of March 1962, for the purchase of two police <br />:ars; and <br /> <br />{HEREAS, the Village Council has been advised by the Village Attorney <br />:hat courts do grant relief to bidders who have made honest mistakes; <br />;md <br /> <br />{HEREAS, it appears that the Village would not be prejudiced or damaged <br />'Y rescinding the contract between the Village and Midway Ford Company, <br /> <br />~OW, THEREFORE, The Village accepts the proposal submitted in the letter <br />)f Midway Ford Company dated 1st day of June, 1962, with the addition <br />)n the condition that Midway Ford rent the Village two 1962 Station <br />Vagons at a rental price of $10 per day plus $.05 per mile for a period <br />:ommencing on date of delivery and ending AU~lst 15, 1962, and rescinds <br />:he sales contract entered into between the Village and Midway Ford Co. <br />!~ 1 directs the Clerk to readvertise for bids for the two police cars. <br />t i Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />;oodrich Moved, Kustermann Seconded, that a public hearing be established <br />for June 25, 1962, for the vacation of Terrace Drive from the east <br />)roperty line of Merrill Street to a point 120 feet east of Merrill St. <br />~oll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />loodrich Moved, Kustermann Seconded, that Resolution No.569 regarding the <br />.anitary sewer connection for Polar Food Lockers be approved; and an <br />lnnual charge of $54.00 be established. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />(ustermann ~1oved, Goodrich Seconded, that the salary increases for <br />James Larson, Lawrence Lee and Fred Guy from $474 to $484 per month be <br />lpproved. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0) 0 <br /> <br />;oodrich Moved, Kustermann Seconded, Lhat the leave of ab$ence for <br />~argaret Pohl, Council Clerk, be approved for the period from <br />July 23 through July 27, 1962.
