<br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council, April 8, 1963.
<br />
<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Trustees Curley, Goodrich, Schrenker and
<br />Kustermann. Mayor McGee absent.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Kustermann Seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />meeting of April 8, 1963, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (3) -
<br />Nays (0) - Abstention (I), Schrenker abstaining.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Schrenker Seconded, that the Willmus Construction
<br />Co. be awarded the bid for transport of fill dirt from Skillman
<br />and Fairview to Oakcrest and Fry in the amount of $2,640.00
<br />inasmuch as they are located in Roseville, familiar with the
<br />Village, and can do a better job. Roll Call, Ayes (4) -
<br />Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Kustermann Seconded, that Continental Oil Company
<br />be awarded the contract for supply of gasoline from April 15, 1963
<br />to April IS, 1964, estimated 50,000 gallons, at a price of 12.735
<br />in relation to the Chicago Edition of the Wall Street Journal,
<br />as indicated in their bid dated April 5, 1963. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Schrenker Moved, Curley Seconded, that the final plat on Porte
<br />Park Plat #2, File #45 be approved; and the Mayor and Clerk be
<br />authorized to sign it providing the Attorney approves the title.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes (4) . Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Schrenker Moved, Curley Seconded, that the Mayor and Clerk be
<br />authorized to sign an Earnest Honey Contract with Mr. Lillehaugen
<br />for purchase of Park Site 15 F in the amount of $3,000.00 Roll
<br />Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Kustermann Moved, Schrenker Seconded, that the public hearing for
<br />the setback variance requested by Curtis A. Boege, 2874 Merrill,
<br />be set for April 22, 1963. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Schrenker Moved, Kustermann Seconded, that Resolution No. 739
<br />vacating Fernwood Street between Brooks and Sextant Avenues, be
<br />adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Mayor McGee entered the meeting at 8:21 p.m.
<br />
<br />Mayor McGee made the following proclamation:
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, The Society for the Preservation and
<br />Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in
<br />America, Incorporated, will celebrate its 25th
<br />Anniversary from April 15 to 21, 1963; and
<br />
