<br />Special Heeting: of the Village Counei I, January 2, 1964.

<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Hayor Cedarholm, Trustees Goodrich, Curley,
<br />Shields and Grauel.
<br />
<br />Curley Hoved, Grauel Seconded, that Trustee Goodrich be appointed
<br />acting mayor for 1964. Roll Call, Ayes (4) ~ Nays (0) ~
<br />Abstentions (1), Trustee Goodrich abstaining.
<br />
<br />Goodrich Moved, Curley Seconded, that Robert Bell be reappointed
<br />Village Attorney for 1964 on the same basis and compensation as
<br />1963. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Shields ~Ioved, Curley Seconded, that ~.1rs. Betty Whitbeck be
<br />appointed Village Treasurer for 1964. Roll Call, Ayes (5) -
<br />Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Shields Hoved, Grauel Seconded, that Jack ~liesen be appointed
<br />Liquor Manager at a salary of $700 a month. Roll Call, Ayes
<br />(5) - Nays (0).

<br />Shields Hoved, Curley Seconded, that Dr. W. W. Amerongen be
<br />reappointed Health Officer at the same compensation as 1963.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

<br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the contract proposed by
<br />~1idwest Planning & Research, Inc. with the Village of Roseville
<br />in May, 1963, be approved, and the Hayor and Clerk be authori zed
<br />to execute it for a period, January 1, 1964 through December 31,
<br />1964. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).

<br />Shields Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that Edward Salverda be re-
<br />appointed electrical inspector at the same compensation as 1963.

<br />Curley Moved, Shields Seconded, that George Rebeck be reappointed
<br />as Police Civil Service Commissioner for a term of three years.

<br />Goodrich Hoved, Grauel Seconded, that James p. Nelson be
<br />appointed as a Planning Commission member to complete the remainder
<br />of the term vacated by Trustee Grauel. Roll Call, Ayes (5) ~

<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that James P. Nelson be appointed
<br />as Chairman of the Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes (5) ~

<br />Planning Commission Secretary. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
