<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minneso- <br />ta was duly held on the 27th day of August, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, and <br />Rog, and the following were absent: Johnson. <br /> <br />Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 8612 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO <br />ADJUST THE TAX LEVY FOR BONDED DEBT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will be issuing General Improvement <br />Bonds in 1991 requiring a new levy; and WHEREAS, the General <br />Obligation Series 5, 6,7,8,9,10 have a balance of dedicated <br />funds, thus a levy is no longer needed and Series 15 and 14 have <br />some funds on hand to reduce the levy for 1991 and WHEREAS, the <br />City Council will be issuing Certificates of Indebtedness for <br />Equipment in 1991 requiring a new levy. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, Minnesota, that <br /> <br />The Ramsey County Auditor be directed to increase the 1991 tax <br />levy for the planned General Improvement Bond Issue Series 17, <br />1991 by $240,000, Certificates of Indebtedness by $272,000 and to <br />decrease the General Obligation Issues Series 5,6,7,8,9,10,14, <br />and 15 levy by $448,877. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by member Maschka and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog, <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
