<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 10th day of September, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, <br />and Rog, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8615 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ADOPTION OF THE <br />MODIFIED TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLANS FOR <br />TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICTS NO. 1 THROUGH 12 <br />WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, It is proposed that the City construct a pedestrian walkway <br />around and adj acent to the Villa Park complex wi thin Development <br />District No.1, and use $7,600 of tax increments from Tax Increment <br />Financing Districts No. 1 through 12 for such purpose; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City previously amended the Tax Increment Financing plans <br />for Tax Increment Financing Districts No. 1 through 12 to provide for <br />additional project costs within Development District No.1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City desires to modify the Tax Increment Financing Plans <br />for Tax Increment Financing Districts No. 1 through 12 pursuant to and <br />in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, sections 469.124 through <br />469.134 as amended, and Minnesota Statutes, sections 469.174 through <br />469.179 inclusive, as amended to provide that $7,600 of the project <br />costs contained in the existing Tax Increment Financing plans for Tax <br />Increment Districts No. 1 through 12 to be allocated to the pedestrian <br />walkway project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Tax Increment Financing Plans <br />for Tax Increment Financing Districts No. 1 through 12 are hereby <br />modified to provide $7,600 of project costs for the pedestrian walkway <br />proj ect. This modification is not intended to increase the total <br />proj ect costs contained in the Tax Increment Financing Plans. The <br />project costs contained in the Tax Increment Financing Plans for the <br />Twin Lakes project shall be reduced by $7,600; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the staff of the City, the City's <br />advisors, and legal counsel are authorized and directed to proceed <br />with the implementation of the Tax Increment Financing plans and for <br />this purpose to negotiate, draft, prepare, and present to this Council <br />for its consideration, all further plans, resolutions, documents, and <br />contracts necessary for this purpose. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Thomas, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Thomas, <br />and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
