<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - March 8, 1965. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Grauel, <br />Goodrich and Shields. <br /> <br />Grauel Movedj Shields Seconded, that the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of March 1, 1965, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - <br />Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Shields Seconded, that the public hearing on the <br />Lake Johanna Home Sites #2 be continued until March 15, 1965. <br />Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Goodrich Moved, Curley Seconded, that the Public Works Director <br />be requested to submit a feasibility report on undertaking a public <br />improvement for acquisition of right-of-way and installation of <br />utilities and streets in Loren Acres Plat #2 preliminary plat. <br />Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the Damsgard Addition <br />preliminary plat be denied. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the Stenger Addition <br />preliminary plat, 591 Transit Avenue, be accepted on the conditions <br />of dedication of a 60 foot radius cul-de-sac and that a 60 foot <br />access be left open for a possible street extension at the east <br />end of the plat. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Shields Seconded, that a public hearing be <br />established for the Bruce Motor Freight, Inc. request for <br />rezoning of property located at 1743 County Road C for AprilS, <br />1965. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that Latier O. Nelson, 1179 <br />Sextant be appointed to a four year term on the Planning <br />Commission effective April 1, 1965. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that Frank Remsburg, 2707 Irene <br />Street be appointed to a four year term on the Planning <br />Commission effective April 1, 1965. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that a letter of thanks be sent <br />to Arthur Soike and Philip Lund for their service on the <br />Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Shields Seconded, that Resolution No. 1166 <br />urging coordination of the PERA and OASI pension systems be <br />adopted.
