VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Regular Meeting of the Village Council - July 12. 1965. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Grauel. Curley and Shields. Absent: Trustee Goodrich. Grauel Movedo Shields Seconded. that the minutes of the regular meeting of June 210 1965. be approved. Roll Call. Ayes (4) - Nays (0). Shields Moved. Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the special meeting of June 24. 19650 be approved. Roll Call. Ayes (3) - Nays (0) - Abstentions - (1). Trustee Curley abstaining. Grauel Moved. Shields Secondeds that the minutes of the special meeting of July 6s 1965. be approved. Roll Call. Ayes (3)- Nays (0) = Abstentions (1)0 Trustee Curley abstaining. Mayor Cedarholm opened the public hearing for proposed Walnut Streets Project 65-32 Improvement. He requested the Clerk to read the official notice of hearing on the improvement. "Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, will meet at the Village Council Chambers. 2701 North Lexington Avenue, on the 12th day of July. 1965, at 7:30 oOclock P.M.. to hold a public hearing pursuant to Minnesota Statutess Chapter 429, as amendeds on proposed Walnut Street Improvement. Project 65=32 consisting of the construction of a 9 ton axle load bituminous streets curb and gutter. and necessary storm drainage facilities~ all substantially in accordance with a preliminary engineering report which is now on file and open to public inspection in the office of the Village Clerk. The cost of the improvement is presently estimated at approximately $50,426. The area proposed to be assessed for the improvement in- cludes all properties abutting on Walnut Street from Rose Place to County Road C. All persons desiring to be heard with reference to the improve- ment and the area proposed to be assessed therefor may appear and be heard by the Village Council at the time and place stated above. The Clerk also produced a certificate of mailing notices of the hearing to all persons listed on the county assessors rolls within 30 days of the hearing. The Mayor called on Roger Short. Banister Engineering Companys to explain the engineering elements of the Walnut Street Improvement.
