<br />meeting of November 1, 1965, be approvedo Roll Call, Ayes (4) -

<br />Goodrich Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the special

<br />Mayor Cedarholm made the following proclamation:
<br />
<br />Veterans Day 1965
<br />
<br />WHEREAS,
<br />
<br />President Lyndon Bo Johnson Qf the United States,
<br />has asked that November II, 1965 be observed as
<br />Veterans Day, the day on which we salute citizens
<br />who have exemplified the highest tradition of
<br />citizenship by serving in defense of this Nation; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Governor Karl Fo Rolvaag, of the State of Minnesota,
<br />has further requested that all of the citizens of the
<br />State of Minnesota to observe Thursday, November 11,
<br />1965, as Veterans Day; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Veterans Day is traditionally a day dedicated to peace;
<br />and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Americans have always wanted peace; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Peace with Honor lies at the very heart of our
<br />American principles;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Emil Fo Cedarholm, Mayor of the Village of Roseville
<br />do hereby call on all citizens of the Village of
<br />Roseville, to observe Thursday, November 11, 1965 as
<br />Veterans Dayo I request all citizens, all business
<br />enterprises, all veterans organizations, village
<br />officials and schools, to commemorate Veterans Day by
<br />performing publicly with appropriate rites in accordance
<br />with the permanent Veterans Day theme, "PEACE WIlli HONOR" 0

<br />Sheehy rezoning request at Lexington Avenue and County Road 0 be
