VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Regular Meeting of the Village Council, May 16, 1966. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrich, Grauel and Shields. Grauel Moved, Shields Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting of May 9, 1966, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Mayor Cedarholm opened the hearing on proposed Improvement 65-35 (Construction of hot mix paving and concrete curb and gutter on Lovell Avenue between Dale Street and St. Albans). The Manager read the published notice of the hearing and filed a certificate of mailing of notices as required by state law. The Public Works Director presented a report on the engineering aspects of the improvement, the costs and how they were to be assessed upon the abutting properties. The Manager presented the proposed financing of the improvement. Mrs. Parks, 2408 St. Albans, asked if the storm sewer would be installed prior to construction of the street. Mr. Terrence O'Toole, attonley representing Mr. and Mrs. Fred O'Neil, 2325 North Dale Street, stated that his clients objected to the construction of the street unless it was constructed from Dale Street to Grotto Street. Mrs. Wayne DeHaven, 2345 North Uale Street, objected to the improve- ment on the basis that Mr. Reinhardt, the contractor who had pur- chased the land surrounding her property had made a verbal agreement to put in that section of street. ShieldS Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the public hearing on Street Improvement 65-35 be continued until Monday, May 23, 1966. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Ordinance No. 491 rezoning property of Minnesota Transfer Railway at County Road C-2 and T.H. 8 be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Goodrich Moved, Curley Seconded, that the request for relocation of a dwelling from 2321 West County Road C-2 to 2911 Troseth Road by Jack Canfield be referred to the Planning Commission i and that the public hearing for the council be established for June 13, 1966. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Resolution No. 1521 directing preparation of a feasibility report on the request for watermain and street construction on Lovell Avenue from Cohansey Street west to the cul-de-sac by Kenneth Fabyanske be adopted.
