Absent: Trustee Grauel. <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the minutes of the <br />meeting of May 16, 1966, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - <br />Nays (0). <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm presented certificates for completion of a <br />course in Supervisory Practices to the supervisors of the <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that Resolution No. 1529 <br />awarding the sale of $1,932,000 General Improvement Bonds, <br />Series 2, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1529 <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that Resolution No. 1530 <br />authorizing the issuance of $1,932,000 General Improvement <br />Bonds, Series 2, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1530 <br /> <br />Goodrich Moved, Curley Seconded, that the public hearing on <br />Street Improvement 65-35 be closed. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - <br />Nays (0). <br /> <br />STREET <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />65-35 <br /> <br />Goodrich Moved, Curley Seconded, that application of C. W. <br />Michaels for a division of a lot be referred to the Planning <br />Commission for hearing. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />DIVISION <br />OF LOT <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that building permits be <br />issued to Calvin Garley.for a four building apartment complex <br />on Pascal Avenue between Centennial Drive and Terrace Drive. <br />Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />BUILDING <br />PERMITS <br /> <br />Goodrich Moved, Curley Seconded, that Ordinance No. 492 <br />regarding parking on boulevards be adopted. Roll Call, <br />Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />ORDINANCB <br />NO. 492 <br /> <br />Goodrich Moved, Curley SecDnded, that Ordinance No. 493 <br />amending Ordinance No. 469 - rezoning of Carbone property, <br />be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (1), Trustee Shields <br />voting nay. Failed for lack of a two-thirds majority. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the Manager and Adminis- <br />trative staff draw up a procedure that must be followed before <br />rezoning petitions are presented to the Village Councilj and <br />that the legal descriptions be checked out so that when the <br />petition is presented to the Council and Planning Commission <br />there is no mistake as to the property in question.
