VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Regular Meeting of the Village Council, September 12, 1966. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Acting Mayor Shields, Trustees Grauel and Curley. Absent: Mayor Cedarholm and Trustee Goodrich. Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the special meeting of August 29, 1966, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Acting Mayor Shields opened the hearing. The Village Manager presented an affidavit of publication and certi- ficates of mailing notice for the property as required by law. The Village Manager and the Public Works Director made a short pre- sentation on the proposed engineering and financing aspects of the improvement. The Acting Mayor opened the hearing for questions and comments. appearing were: 1. Those 2. Julius Loipersbeck, 1023 Orchard, St. Paul, Minnesota. Appeared in opposition to the improvement. Kenneth Fabyanske, 471 Minnesota, Roseville, Minnesota. Appeared in favor of the improvement. Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the public hearing on Improvements 66-23 and 66-24 be continued until the Council meeting of September 26, 1966. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). Grauel ~loved, Curley Seconded, that the application submitted by Ii & W Motor Express for special use permit for the operation of a truck line on 1-2 zoned property at 2720 N. Fairview be approved on the conditions that they furnish the Village $2,500 cash for ditch improvement necessary on the property and an easement for the County Ditch extended across the property. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that request for building permit for Ii & W Motor Express at 2720 N. Fairview be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the rezoning request of Swahn Liquidating Trust be continued until the Council meeting of September 19, 1966. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the request of Target Stores for extension of permit for temporary lawn and garden structure be denied. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the application submitted by James Kellett for variances on front yard and side yard setback for building extension at 2803 Farrington Ave. be approved as recommended by the Planning Commission in report dated September 12, 1966. Roll Call, Ayes (3) = Nays (0). Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the request of Garrett Freightlines, Inc. for a special use permit be referred to the Planning Commission and the Council public hearing on the matter be set for October 10, 1966.
