<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council, September 12, 1966. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Acting Mayor Shields, Trustees Grauel and Curley. Absent: <br />Mayor Cedarholm and Trustee Goodrich. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the special meeting <br />of August 29, 1966, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Shields opened the hearing. <br /> <br />The Village Manager presented an affidavit of publication and certi- <br />ficates of mailing notice for the property as required by law. <br /> <br />The Village Manager and the Public Works Director made a short pre- <br />sentation on the proposed engineering and financing aspects of the <br />improvement. <br /> <br />The Acting Mayor opened the hearing for questions and comments. <br />appearing were: <br />1. <br /> <br />Those <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Julius Loipersbeck, 1023 Orchard, St. Paul, Minnesota. <br />Appeared in opposition to the improvement. <br />Kenneth Fabyanske, 471 Minnesota, Roseville, Minnesota. <br />Appeared in favor of the improvement. <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the public hearing on Improvements <br />66-23 and 66-24 be continued until the Council meeting of September 26, <br />1966. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel ~loved, Curley Seconded, that the application submitted by Ii & W <br />Motor Express for special use permit for the operation of a truck line <br />on 1-2 zoned property at 2720 N. Fairview be approved on the conditions <br />that they furnish the Village $2,500 cash for ditch improvement necessary <br />on the property and an easement for the County Ditch extended across the <br />property. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that request for building permit for Ii & W <br />Motor Express at 2720 N. Fairview be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - <br />Nays (0). <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the rezoning request of Swahn <br />Liquidating Trust be continued until the Council meeting of September <br />19, 1966. Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the request of Target Stores for <br />extension of permit for temporary lawn and garden structure be denied. <br />Roll Call, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the application submitted by James <br />Kellett for variances on front yard and side yard setback for building <br />extension at 2803 Farrington Ave. be approved as recommended by the <br />Planning Commission in report dated September 12, 1966.
