<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council, October 10, 1966. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Goodrich, Grauel, <br />Curley and Shields. <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of September 26, 1966, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - <br />Nays (0). <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm made the following proclamation: <br /> <br />WHEREAS Working women constitute 26,000,000 of the nation's <br />working force, and are constantly striving to serve <br />their communities, their states and their nation in <br />civic and cultural programs, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS major goals of business and professional women are to <br />help create better conditions for business women through <br />the study of social, educational, economic and political <br />problems; to help them be of greater service to their <br />community; to further friendships with women throughout <br />the world, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS all of us are proud of their leadership in these many <br />fields of endeavor, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I Emil F. Cedarholm, Mayor of the Village of <br />Roseville, by the authority vested in m" do hereby <br />proolaim October 16th to the 22nd as NATIONAL BUSINESS <br />WOMEN'S WEEK sponsored by the National Federation of <br />Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc., and urge <br />all citizens, all civic and fraternal groups, all educational <br />associations, all news media and other community organizations <br />to join in this salute to working women by encouraging and <br />promoting the celebration of the achievements of all business <br />and professional women as they contribute daily to our <br />economic, civic and cultural purposes. <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm opened the public hearing on assessments for <br />Improvement 65-35. <br /> <br />The Village Clerk presented an affidavit showing publication of <br />notice of hearing on the proposed assessment for Street Improve- <br />ment No. 65-3S;in Ramsey County Suburban Life on September 21, 1966 <br />in accordance with the resolution adopted September 12, 1966, which <br />affidavit was examined, found satisfactory, and ordered placed on <br />file. <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consider- <br />ation of objections. Mr. Wayne H. DeHaven, 2345 North Dale Street, <br />objected - corner lot on Dale and Lovell, faces Dale. The improve- <br />ment was on Lovell - feels it is of no value to him. <br /> <br />The Mayor continued the matter until later in the agenda. <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT <br />HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT 65-35 <br />
