<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council, December 19, 1966. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Grauel and <br />Shields. Absent: Trustee Goodrich. <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting <br />of December 12, 1966, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (4) _ Nays (0). <br /> <br />MINUTE S <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm opened the public hearing for Improvements 66-31, <br />66-32 and 66-33. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINC <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />66=31, 66=32 <br />AND 66-33 <br /> <br />The Manager presented an affidavit showing publication of notice <br />of hearing on the proposed Improvements 66-31, 66-32 and 66-33 <br />in the Ramsey County Suburban Life on December 7 and 14, 1966. <br />The Manager also presented a Certificate of Mailing Notices to all <br />affected property owners, which certificate was examined, found to <br />be satisfactory and directed to be filed. <br /> <br />The Mayor then directed the Manager to read the description of <br />the general nature and estimated cost of the proposed improvements <br />as stated in the published notice of hearing. After reading of <br />the notice all persons present were afforded opportunity to be <br />heard and the names and addresses of the persons appearing and <br />heard by the Council were as follows: <br /> <br />L. A. Guggemos, Ban-Con, Inc., 628 4th Street, White Bear Lake. <br />Favored the improvement. <br /> <br />Mrs. William Eng, 495 lona Lane - objected to improvement. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed. <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Resolution No. 1717 ordering <br />Improvements 66-31, 66-32 and 66-33 and preparation of plans be <br />adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 171 7 <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the application of Northern <br />States Power Company for transmission lines and towers be referred <br />to the Planning Commission for recommendation. Roll Call, <br />Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />NORTHERN <br />STATES <br />POWER COMPANY <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Resolution No. 1718 endorsing <br />three drainage bills proposed by the Ramsey County Municipal League <br />be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1718 <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Shields Seconded, that the zoning variance requested <br />by W. Brown, S. Palmer, R. Ettel, L. Heckel and R. Ferry at 2723, <br />2729, 2743 and 2749 North Griggs Street be referred to the Planning <br />Commission. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0), <br /> <br />VARIANCES <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the request of H. & Val J. <br />Rothschild for vacation of Terrace Drive be referred to the <br />Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />VACATION <br />OF STREET <br />
