<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council, April 17, 1967. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: ~myor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Grauel and <br />Goodrich. Absent: Trustee Shields. <br /> <br />Goodrich ~10ved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting <br />of April 10, 1967, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the hearing on Improvement 67-18. <br /> <br />The Village f'.1anager presented an affidavit showing publication <br />of notice of hearing on proposed Improvement 67-18 in accordance <br />with the resolution adopted March 27, 1967, \vhich affidavit was <br />examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be <br />filed by the Vi 11 age r.1anager. The Vi llage Manager also exhibited <br />a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected property <br />o\vners, which certificate was examined and found to be satisfactory <br />and was directed to be filed by the Manager. <br /> <br />The Mayor then directed the Manager to read the description of <br />the general nature and estimated cost of the proposed improvement <br />and the area proposed to be assessed therefor, as stated in the <br />published notice of hearing. After reading of the notice, all <br />persons present were afforded opportunity to be heard: <br /> <br />MR. MARLYN J. PARSONS, 2310 Hand Avenue, stated he would rather <br />wait but would go along with the improvement. <br /> <br />After discussion of the views presented, Mayor Cedarholm closed the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Cur ley Seconded, that Resolution No. 1799 ordering <br />Improvement 67-1.2 (Hand Avenue) and preparation of plans be <br />adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel Hoved, Curley Seconded, that Resolution No. 1800 establishing <br />a public hearing for June 5, 1967 for Storm Sewer Improvement No. 67-9 <br />in the vicinity of Hamline Avenue and County Road C and terminating <br />at Lake Josephine be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the Attorney draft an amendment <br />to the Village Code including furniture stores of over 40,000 square <br />feet as a special use in a B-1 zone. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the Attorney prepare an <br />ordinance allowing equipment and rental sales in an I-I District <br />as a special use and to eliminate all outside storage in I-I <br />districts. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Goodrich f'.1oved, Curley Seconded, that Resolution No. 1801 changing <br />the date for opening of bids on Improvement 66-17 and 66-25 as <br />called for in Resolution No. 1796 be adopted.
