<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council, June 12, 1967. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the follow~ng <br />members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrlch, <br />Grauel and Shields. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved Shields Seconded, that the minutes of the special <br />meeting of J~ne 6, 1967, be approved with the addition of <br />Mr. Curley's name of those attending the meeting. Roll Call, <br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of May 22, 1967, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - <br />Nays (0). <br /> <br />The Mayor stated that the hearing on Storm Sewer Improvement 67-9 <br />had been closed on Tuesday, June 6, 1967, but that the Council would <br />hear briefly from anyone who had not appeared at that hearing. <br /> <br />The following persons were heard: <br /> <br />BARRY PETERSON, 2726 Merrill Street - Presented a petition with <br />signatures of those property owners in the improvement area <br />opposing the improvement. <br /> <br />MRS. JUNE DEMOS, 3079 North Churchill Street - Stated that <br />she had talked to several of the petition signers and that they <br />had stated that the assessment policy had been misrepresented <br />by some of those circulating the petition and that many had signed <br />just to keep peace with their neighbors. <br /> <br />The Mayor closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that Resolution No. 1834 ordering <br />Improvement 67-9 and preparation of plans be adopted. Roll Call, <br />Ayes (4) - Nays (1), Trustee Goodrich voting no. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the public hearing on <br />Improvements 67-12 and 67-13 be continued until the meeting of <br />June 19, 1967. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the special use permit for <br />Twin Tires, Inc. at 2820 North Fairview Avenue be denied. Roll <br />Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the special use permit requested <br />by Target Stores at 1515 West County Road B be denied. Roll Call, <br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br /> <br />Goodrich Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the request by Target Stores <br />for referral to the Planning Commission of a special use permit for <br />a gas station be referred to the Planning Commission.
