<br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - January 8, 19680

<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger and Shields.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of December 11, 1967, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (4) -
<br />Nays (0) - Abstentions (1) Linebarger abstaining.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of December 18, 1967, be approved as corrected. Roll Call, Ayes (4) -
<br />Nays (0) - Abstentions (1) Linebarger abstaining.

<br />On Page 1, Item 4, it should read: Roseville Terr~~e Pla~l, NO~, l~,
<br />Block 21.

<br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the special
<br />meeting of December 20, 1967, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (3) -
<br />Nays (0) - Abstentions (2) Moll and Linebarger abstaining.
<br />
<br />Linebarger Moved that the 1968 Rules of Procedure be changed to
<br />provide that regular Council meetings be held on the second, third
<br />and last Thursdays of the month. Motion died for lack of a second.
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the 1968 Rules of Procedure be
<br />adopted as presented. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (1) . Linebarger
<br />voting no.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Shields Seconded, that Councilman Albert Grauel be
<br />appointed Acting Mayor. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that resignation of Mr. L. O.
<br />Nelson be accepted and that Mrs. June Demos be appointed to his
<br />unexpired term on the Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes (5) -
<br />Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that James Edlund be appointed
<br />to fill the unexpired term of Gale Linebarger on the Planning
<br />Commission. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (1) Mayor Moll voting no.
<br />
<br />Linebarger Moved, Grauel Seconded, that George Membrez be
<br />appointed Chairman of the Planning Commission. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that Cameron Anderson be re-
<br />appointed Secretary of the Planning Commission, Roll Call, Ayes (5) -
<br />Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Shields Seconded, that Councilman Grauel be appointed
<br />liason member to the Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes (5) -
<br />Nays (0).
<br />
<br />Linebarger Moved, Curley Seconded, that Councilman Shields be
<br />appointed liason member to the Recreation Board. Roll Call, Ayes (4) -
<br />Nays (0) - Abstentions (1), Shields abstaining because of his being
<br />involved in the appointment.
